Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Ctete is expected today to resign in the wake of terrible attacks against Matteo Salvin, the far-right leader in this country.
Cote, a law professor no one knew until last year, entered the coalition between the Salvin League and the anti-Establiament party Movement Five Stars. He will address the Senate in an hour, nearly two weeks after Salvin ended his partnership with him by moving towards new elections.
The league is demanding a no-confidence motion for Conten, but the prime minister will avoid that if he resigns to the president, Sergio Mattarella.
Italian media report, Periscopi reports, that he will continue criticism of Salvin, pointing to the coalition's achievements.
Cote accused Salbin of unfaithfulness and of being obsessed with closing Italian ports to immigrants.
