During the day today, Dimitrirak Toli has sworn an oath and has been constitutionalised by the Municipal Council. Greek and Albanian anthems were played during the ceremony, as were both countries' flags. Mayor Toli likewise spoke in both languages.
Present during the construction were deputies Bledi Cuci, Mirela Godbarto and Artemis Malo, and Deputy Interior Minister Rowena Voda and Prefect Astrit Aliaj.
The vault was run for the past four years by a DP mayor who was not present as the new chairman entered the office. We remember that Dropult is the largest local entity of ethnic Greek minorities in Albania.
