“We will do everything necessary to protect our national interests and prevent the brutal crackdown on international law, politicisation and criminalisation of this professional police organisation”, Stefanovic has declared for yetug,
He stressed that Serbia's representatives would continue to talk to Interpol member states in order to give them once again uncontested arguments showing why Kosovo's accession would have broad consequences for Interpol's future work.
We're not going to let those who committed crimes become crime fighters because it's clear that something like this is impossible”.
Stefanovic added that even before the Interpol General Assembly session, which will be held in October in Chile, it will reveal all legal arguments which clearly indicate that Kosovo cannot be part of Interpol because it is part of Serbia.
On the other hand, Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli has voiced confidence that this year, Kosovo will become part of the largest police organisation.
