Scandal: The government confirms what Haradinaj told Brnabiqi: No stop for Serbian officials, MPJ exposed

The clarifications come a day after Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through Foreign Minister Jtlir Zyberaj's cabinet chief, has communicated news of making the decision not to allow Serbian officials to enter Kosovo.

On Friday, even public television in Serbia quoted Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabiq as saying that at the summit of Western Balkan countries in Poland's Poznan, he has heard from Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, as saying the decision to prevent the entry of Serbian officials to Kosovo is a “false news”.

“I am surprised how false news in Pristina spreads to counselors of so-called Foreign Affairs Minister“, Brnabiq said.

On the other hand, Zyberaj insisted that the news is not false.

The decision not to allow the entry of Serbian officials into Kosovo as long as they provoke tensions and continue with the propaganda and the hybrid campaign towards our country is in line with government policy, applied since the decision to set trade tariffs against Serbia, as a national decision to protect Kosovo's national interests and security, and to prevent further aggressive actions from Serbia against Kosovo”, Free Europe Radio Zyberaj said on Friday.

Serbia's aggressive “steps, insisting on the so-called humanitarian crisis, arresting Kosovo's citizens, opposing Kosovo internationally and establishing a false news campaign and propaganda against Kosovo, unseen before, must stop”, Zyberaj said.

According to him, at the moment the conditions are created and Serbia withdraws from the “institutions installed in Kosovo”, this decision will be lifted.

“Topi is on Serbia's side to act as a constructive neighbour. The chauvinism of Brnabych's statements knows the whole world. She is a person who is a woman in Kosovo”, Zyberaj said.

In terms of these developments, European Union spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic was promoted Thursday.

She has said the EU expects both sides to respect the agreements already signed under dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels, including the agreement on officials' visits.

She has said Brussels is in contact with the parties (Pristina and Belgrade) over this decision.
