The match between Fernikli and The New Saints at “Fadil Vokrri”, within the first qualifying circle of the Champions League, did not go in favour of Kosovars who suffered defeat by 1:0.

The good result of the first match (taxing 2:2 in Wales) had made Fernikel's team hope for victory and qualifications in the next round to become the first Kosovo team to reach the second qualifying circle in the Champions League.

However, the Wellsian club fans returned home happy as their team provided the qualifications to the next circle of the Champions League. Moreover, one of these fans wrote on the Water social network about the beautiful experience he had had in Kosovo.

“Ekipi and Fernikel fans and people in Pristina were unbelievable. Kind, hospitable, and most pleasant even in defeat. The journey changes the effort and football unites people! A special night for all the people involved”, writes Lee Rucoe.
