Resolution adopted condemning Trump attack on conventioners

The House of Representatives in the United States approved on Tuesday a resolution condemning and racistly naming American President Donald Trump's statements to four colored congressmen who were told to return to their home countries. This resolution was adopted by majority of votes after being voted by 240 members of the House of Representatives and rejected by only 187 others. Only four Republicans will Hurd, Brian Fitzpatrick, Fred Upton and Susan Brooks supported this resolution. Justin Amash, who recently withdrew from the Republican Party, also supported the resolution.
The resolution vote came several days after President Trump's tweeting posts, which prompted many reactions. He asked four conventioners, three of whom were born in the United States, while Congresswoman Omar is a naturalized American who at a young age had come to the United States as refugee from Somalia.
Each member of this institution, whether democratic or Republican, should join us in condemning the President's racist posts. Anything less than that would be shocking to our values and a shameful withdrawal from our oath to protect the American people”, said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Her comments prompted the strong reaction of the republican members of this institution, who accused his Democrat chairman of violating the rules, under which the president was prohibited from making fanatic or racist statements, writes the Guardian”
