Croatia was known to be a very talented national, but English fans were extremely optimistic before the “Three Lions” would reach the final for the first time since 1966, Periscopi broadcasts.
The match went on as the regular-time score was 1-1, but Croats scored the winning goal in the 109th minute via Mario Mandzukici.
English footballers had only 10 minutes to save their night, and in a desperate attempt to match, Marcus Rasford and Jesse Lingard tried to surprise the opponent while celebrating.
