Pristina municipality seeks to cancel concert for psychologists, professors

Through this competition August aimed at employing 6 psychologists and 4 professors in educational institutions in the Pristina region.

According to the Pristina municipality, the contest has been declared contrary to any legal provisions in force, in terms of the competence of proclamation, recruiting and any other phase of employment of specific profiles.

“Competent for employment is the institution that develops competition procedure, links the most employed contract, which is obliged to meet the rights and obligations at the workplace, which the employer provides for, this one once has and obligations defined with legal provisions at the power of”, is said in the Commission's statement that means that in this case it should announce the contest and not the August.

The statement says that based on the City Hall's competence law is to employ its staff, both in administration and in its subordinate entities, and in this law on Education in the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo, it is stressed that the municipalities have full and exclusive competencies, as far as they are concerned with local interest, while respecting the standards defined under the legislation in force regarding pre-school, primary and medium-sized public education provisions, including the registration and licens of educational institutions, employment.

“We're looking to MAST, cancel the competition and immediately disrupt the recruiting procedures for the competition, announced by Psikologists and professors”, the statement concludes.
