Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj attended the summit of Western Balkan countries, which is being held in Poznan, Poland. At the plenary session, where economic growth is discussed, necessary reforms promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness in the Western Balkans, Prime Minister Haradinaj has also taken words.
In this case, Prime Minister Haradinaj has confirmed Kosovo's position and engagement in regional processes, saying Kosovo has pledged the Berlin process and has committed itself to achieving this process in progress.
Similarly, Prime Minister Haradinaj said that even pledges issued by the Poznan Summit, Kosovo as a serious party takes full responsibility for their implementation.
Speaking about the process of finalising dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Prime Minister Haradinaj said there are major differences between the two countries that can and should be resolved.
I want to see trade growth, no barriers, between our two countries. But this is not a simple issue. There is a broader political context where bold decisions should be made. The Joint Framework Agreement on Dialogue on Intermediate Recognition at the existing borders between our two states” is necessary, Prime Minister Haradinaj has said, praising that this is the only way forward and Kosovo remains committed to achieving that goal.
According to a communique of the Government of Kosovo, at this session were Poland's prime minister, Matizz Morawicki, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, UK Chief Minister Theresa May, EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Federica Mogherini, prime ministers and ministers of Western Balkan countries, RCC Secretary General Majlinda Bregu, representatives of states, organisations and representatives of the EURZH, OECD, RYCO.
