The 28-year-old suffered consecutive headshots in the round of 11 by his opponent Matias in a drug in the light category of the IBF before his coach stopped the mechin, which took place Friday.
Dashev's recent moments in the ring before he loses consciousness and suffers fatal brain bloodshed are seen in a video published on Twitter.
His coach McGirt said about E SPN that he was supposed to stop him in the ninth and 10th round before he finally did it in the 11th round.
It's gonna stop him, he's taking too many hits. Please, Max, let me do it”, this is McGrit telling the Russian boxer who refused.
McGrit, however, ignores the boxer's refusal to surrender and tells the judge to stop the match at the end.
Unfortunately, it was too late for Dashev, because the Russian died Tuesday night at the hospital.
