But tourists from Kosovo as well this year continue to be loyal vacationers on the Albanian coast. Even this tourist season, they chose the Albanian coast to spend their summer holidays.
The weekends especially mark the largest influx of citizens from Kosovo who address not only the Albanian coast, but also the other tourist destinations our country offers.
The figures released today by INSTAT confirm the fact that the National Road tax has not contributed to the reduction of the number of vacationers from Kosovo, rather this month they have scored higher growth compared to a year ago.
The number of tourists from Kosovo who chose this June to spend holidays in Albania, according to INSTAT, has an increase of 55% in proportion to the same month a year ago. Over 213 thousand citizens from Kosovo have entered total.
As 608,649 citizens from Kosovo entered Albania during the first six months of 2019. So this shows an increase of 6.4% more citizens from Kosovo compared to the same period in 2018. Tourism is largely held thanks to Kosovo brothers.
