Ramush Haradinaj has officially submitted the letter of resignation to Kosovo's Parliament today
The Directorate for Media and Public Relations of the Parliament has made this known through a communiqué.
“Today, the prime minister in the resignation of the Kosovo government, Ramush Haradinaj, has officially submitted his letter of resignation to the Assembly. The resignation letter has been immediately processed to members of the Parliament's Headship and the heads of parliamentary groups”, the announcement said.
Haradinaj has resigned irrevocable from the position of Kosovo prime minister on Friday last week.
“Today, through a letter, I have announced the heads of institutions and leaders of political parties represented in the Assembly for my decision to resign irrevocable from the post of prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo. In line with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the applicable laws, I have invited the necessary steps to declare the national general elections, so that the right to elect sovereigns returns. Until the election of the new government, I will continue performing constitutional duties as Prime Minister and Government in the resignation.”, Haradinaj writes on the fb.
