The efforts of Albanians have known valiant warriors, such as Commander Xhema Bajraktari and his fellow fighter, Azem Gelaj, martyrs of the Shekullar Battle, who, with their heroic resistance, are placed in blood on the border of the homeland. Kosovo is leaving them today a debt by rehuming them with the highest honours on the land for which they sacrificed their lives 75 years ago. From today they will rest quietly in the cemetery of Witnesses and Martyrs in Pec. Memorable for them. Eternal glory! ”, Haradinaj wrote.
In contrast, a memorial academy was held in Pec today for the two martyrs, and then at a ceremony it was also performed on the Witnesses ' graves in Pec.
