Jorge Masvidal made the fastest knockout in UFC history, making Ben Askren unconscious after just five seconds at UFC 239.

The former Masvidal street fighter flew across the eightanges immediately after the bell for the beginning of the mechi and gave an amazing knee in the head of his opponent.

Askren tried to read this move and jump away, but instead he got the full shot, the news broadcasts.net.

Next came triumphant noises in Las Vegas, while former Olympic wrestler Askren hit the floor after he remained unconscious.

Ameriakni Masvidal was able to give another blow before the match judge intervened.

Nokauti seems to have happened in just two seconds, if the judge hadn't been late, but five seconds were enough for Masvidal to break the fastest knockout record in UFC history.

The record was held by Duane Ludwig, who knocked Jonathan Goulet in 2006.
