Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Arberes Krasniqi has said that the Business Park in Drenas will increase for 30 hectare, creating the best conditions for local and foreign businesses.

Krasniqi said that given the demand added by local and foreign businesses, MTI has initiated expanding the business park.

Krasniqi, at the International Business Fund for Development of the New Industrial Zone in Drenas, announced that during this mandate the MTI has set out conditions to offer businesses modern infrastructure enabling businesses easier operation and opening new jobs.

Economic “Zonas serve for easier access to the highway, into the water, stream of track infrastructure. We have announced 9 areas, and the Business Park in Drenas, the second part MTI has started the construction project and it's a 30 hectare project, and all investments are from MTI”, Krasniqi said.

“MTI, along with MMPH and the Ministry of Finance, has recorded and completed for the depleting of the ecometic area in Drenas, this area includes the 61 hectares area and is later reduced where the National Stadium will be built, and this area is now expected to have about 30 acres. The project envisions capital investments and construction of the Centre for Professional Training”, Krasniqi said.

The deputy minister stressed that, with the completion of economic zones, Kosovo is creating conditions for foreign and local investors, which at the same time reduces the cost due to the small rent these areas have.

“also soon begins building the economic zone in Malisheva, which is dedicated especially to diaspora businesses, which for the first time are being offered concrete conditions, which the sçka occurs earlier”, Krasniqi said.

She made it known that even Skenderaj will soon start building the industry and will have other investments.
