Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has declined to accept the invitation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik, to visit this country next week on the occasion of the Southeast Europe Co-operation Process summit (SEECP), the Bosnian portal Klux.ba, broadcasts time.net.
According to this portal, he, after a long review of the invitation, has made a decision not to travel to the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo, remaining loyal to an earlier stance that BiH must first recognise Kosovo's independence.
Long ago he had refused in Tirana to extend his hand to the current chairman of the BiH presidency, this portal recalls. The leader of Kosovo last month has not wanted to come either the EBRD annual conference, which has been held in Sarajevo. Because of his failure to return, he has mentioned that BiH has not accepted Kosovo's independence, writes Klux.ba.
The summit for the Southeast Europe Co-operation Process ( SEECP) begins on July 8th in Jahorina, and the participation of Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdogan, Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic and Albania's president, Ilir Meta, is expected.
