BBC: Belgrade among the world's 5 most creative cities

There's an assumption that creativity has only to do with individual genius. The truth is, creative achievements are also part of the social process. Historically, cities are essential ingredients for the creation of important art, from Athens Classical to the Postwar Youth and New York Fire.

The Richard Florida Academy popularized the theory in the early 2000s that creativity also enables Urba development: bohems and artists move within the city, to working class areas, and to abandoned industrial areas in search of free accommodation and space for creation.

In the book of 2017, the New Urban Crisis, Florida is considered one of the bad examples you had once experienced. He had argued that major international art cities had become victims of their success, with high inequities reaching its peak, pervertedly, even in the most liberal and creative areas, Periscope translates.
