Police agents made several months of investigation. They were shown as minors on social media sites and online applications, where suspects engage in sexually experimental conversations with law enforcement officials, thinking they had children.
The men traveled several miles with the intention of having sex with a child, but there they faced police and were arrested.
The men arrested during this operation managed to get into association with their children by developing faith through promises to exploit them for sexual purposes.
A similar operation in 2018 led to the arrest of 21 individuals. More than 100 people have been arrested in operations dating back to 2013.
