110 people get driver's license in Gjakova . Kosovo Police in fear

Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova, the Regional Road Communications Unit, respectively, reports that over the past few days, they have taken increased measures in road traffic, implementing operational plans and increasing ground prevention activity.

According to the announcement, under the summer season's preventative activities for accident prevention, Kosovo police from the Regional Directorate in Gjakova are implementing various operational plans, and in particular the Operational Plan “Alcooli” and other dangerous countertakes.

Police say this operational plan has started from the date 05.07.2019 and will be implemented consistently during the summer season, and is aimed at road safety and prevention of counterinference in the Gjakova region.

NDRRRR-DRP Gjakova police officers have measured 1908 car executives' alcohol and so far imposed 110 fines for driving under the influence of alcohol and, as a safeguard, 110 drivers whose driving has been banned simultaneously until nine months”, the report said.

They say that in addition to the abuse of alcohol, NIRRCR has also taken on other counters that are a permanent threat to road accidents, where up until now, 344 fines have been pronounced and 25 driver's license from various criminals has been confiscated.

The NDRRRR-DRP Gjakova is also continuing with other preventative activities, launching the consciousness campaign “Three golden road safety rules” and so far this awareness campaign has been successfully launched in the three municipalities of the Gjakova Region (Gjakovs, Malishev and Rahovec) and continues to be implemented in the following days<3>, the report says.
