According to the head of the Serbian state, such a visit would be an option to solve problems in the region, including Kosovo.
“has been a long time since an American president had been visiting Belgrade”, Vuciq said in front of reporters, writes normally.
According to him, Donald Trump's visit to Serbia would make a big difference in terms of reports between states in the region.
Serbia is a small country, and it cannot ask the American president to engage in Serbia on a weekly or daily basis, but such a visit would be important and would be an injection for reports between the two countries and to solve problems in the region, Vuciq has said.
Vuciq, during his stay in Bratislava, has also met American diplomat Philip Reeker, who has also talked to him about the problems the region is facing, and especially the Kosovo-Serbia problem.
Ahead of these visits, Vuciq has participated in a panel together with President Thaci, with whom they have held a heated debate over open problems between the two countries.
It has been discussed on the Brussels Agreement, meeting obligations, tax and final agreement intended to be reached.
The American president earlier this year had sent two letters to Thaci and Vuciqi, where he had requested the removal of the tax and had spoken of a Kosovo-Serbia historic agreement that would be signed at the White House. Meanwhile, President Thaci, repeatedly claims that without the involvement of America, nothing can be achieved in terms of dialogue with Serbia. /GazetaExpress/
