Vettel in position, leaves Hamilton behind in Canada

The Ferrari's driver Sebastian Vettel has defeated the Mercedes opponent, Lewis Hamilton, to seize the position at Canada's Grand Prix.

It was only the second time in seven races that Mercedes was defeated for pole position, next time by Vettelli's associate Charles Lclerc in March, writes Periscopi.

Vettel was 0.206 seconds faster than Hamilton.

Daniel Riccardo was fourth, behind Leclerci, who closed the race in third place.
