PSD Parliamentary Group chief Dardan Sejdiu has addressed criticism of the other two opposition LDK and VV parties that they served in the hands of President Hashim Thaci dialogue with Serbia.
According to him, this decision has brought down the PSD's attempt to give PSD competencies and decision-making power.
This is Sejdiu's post:
Attempting the PSD to grant the competencies and decision-making power to the Parliament and to remove dialogue from Hashim Thaci's hands challenged the other two opposition parties, the LDK and the VV.
Today, the Constitutional Court has declared the Law on Compensities and Responsibilities of the State Delegation as a whole incompatible with the constitutional principles of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Social Democrat Party accepts that decision and will act on it. Consequently, members of the state delegation from the PSD ranks are now stopping to serve in this body.
We entered the delegation on the condition that the delegation has competencies. Since they are no longer, then our position in the delegation is without legal significance.
Otherwise, this process now becomes the hands of the president and prime minister. And all that it says from now on is simple, the VV's LDK served Hashim Thaci dialogue in hand.
