U.S. Gets ready for Monday

Scientists are increasingly trying to create conditions so that a person can live on the moon in the near future. In support of this, scientists are also using the results of two experiments conducted at the (MSS) International Space Station to develop a formula to build a base [...]
In addition, scientists are also using the results of two experiments conducted at the International Space Station (MSS) to develop a formula to build a permanent basis for people, NASA reports.
According to her, after building a permanent base on the moon, people will need solid materials that will be able to cope with the impact of solar radiation and meteors. Scientists from NASA stress that the plan is more likely to be concrete.
The main researcher in both MSS experiments, Alexandra Radlinska, said the search focused on the cement glue that would hold together the mix of concrete.

NASA explains that if water is added to the cement, complex changes occur in the structure of molecules, during which small interrelated crystal structures are created.
The report adds that the relationship between water and cement is crucial to the process of effectively combining concrete components as well as determining the strength and sustainability of prepared concrete.
Scientists should determine whether the ratio of these components will be different in the moon, where gravity is six times weaker than on Earth.
The study was conducted as a result of reports that the US announced plans to establish a permanent presence on the moon by 2028.
