Rama shows who is hindering opening negotiations with EU

During a speech in Pustec, the head of the Government of Albania that opposition actions are a disaster for the country at the historic moment when negotiations are expected to open with the EU.

“Albania is at a historic moment, as well as Northern Macedonia, as the two countries are expecting the opening of negotiations for EU membership, but unfortunately, unlike Northern Macedonia, Albania is in an internal effort to escape an internally set trap of people aimed at precisely preventing and refusing negotiations for membership from the European Union. This is a disaster”, he said.

Rama has also led the charges against President Ilir Meta, that he is working against opening these negotiations, establishing confidence in some EU member states that Albania does not deserve that.

“Meta today was not supposed to deal with the cup of divination, but it had to deal with efforts to meet counterparts, travel to European capitals, talk about the importance of opening negotiations, and on the other hand, deal with the calming of divination until June 30th. As long as it stopped Ilir Meta of Turkish coffee and there was no more situation as ridiculous, as dangerous as a handful of people who go without the point of shame on TV and seek to terrorise Albanians who are about to become famous, the yet will come, and with an opposition being run by people who are threatening all day, who are all day off with talkers, shouts and curses”, Prime Minister Rama said.

He added that Albania still has much work to do in the future, but that it does not promise miracles.

We don't promise you any miracles, we can't promise any magic, that magic is what makes those who see the cup”, Rama says.
