Kuka beat German Louise Malsahn with ippon through the revision in the category -57kg, and adorned himself with bronze in Belarus on Monday.
This was Kosovo's third medal at the Minsk 2019 European Games, after the gold of Majlinda Kelmendi and Nora Gjakova silver two days ago.
Kuka has explained how he had escaped defeat in the last 30 seconds, as well as the tremendous feeling he has experienced after the triumph.
I didn't expect to win a medal at all, I expected a fifth or seven place. In a medal fight I've been lost in the last 30 seconds. I made a comeback and I won with the ippon, it was an extremely good feeling, Loriana said.
When I saw the public response and Tony I enjoyed it. The moment with Tony was so beautiful and I'll never forget”, she added.
