Kosovo's extraordinary upgrade to U ranking EFA

Kosovo football successes every day and more are taking the attention of the opinion not only in Kosovo, but also in Europe and beyond.

Presentations and results achieved by the Kosovo National have echoed even in the most prestigious media in the world, while the 14-game series of games without losses has prompted Kosovo to be assessed as history of success, Periscopi broadcasts.

However, along with National A successes, national age teams are also making good presentations, testifying that Kosovo football is on track.

One thing like that testifies even to the progress Kosovo has made in ranking U EFA in terms of national Federation progress.

In fact, within the U EFA exists the trophy “Maurice Burlaz”, the award given to the national Federation that has achieved the best results in U youth competitions EFA during the previous two seasons for U17 and U19.

This trophy is named after Maurice Burlaz, former vice president of the UEFA Youth Committee. 2016/17 edition Kosovo was in 55th (last in rankings), and is now 43rd, thus advancing 12 positions.

In terms of progress, Kosovo is in 4th place from the Federations that have progressed the most during the two-year period.
