Kosovo, Turkey with agreement to strengthen health system

Deputy Health Minister in Turkey Emine Alp Mese said this agreement aims to strengthen the health system in Kosovo.
She said that under the agreement signed between Kosovo and Turkey in 2009, which envisions the treatment of 100 Kosovo patients within the year in Turkey have so far been treated 800 patients and trained over 1,000 doctors who have received medical education.
On the other hand, MS Secretary in Kosovo Naim Bardiqi said the 2009 agreement has brought great benefits to Kosovo health for what he also thanked the Turkish state.
He said further that the action plan is aimed at determining activities between the two states in terms of health with particular emphasis on accreditation.
