Through a media report, Kosovo police announced that the first tour of Kosovo Police Police Officials will travel to Albania tomorrow.
The first “Turney of Kosovo Police Police Officers, responsible for the Regional Comission Units (NJRKRR) and Highway Control Unit (NJKA), will travel to the Republic of Albania on the 01.07.2019. The information meeting with police officials will be held at 09:30 at the Border Cross Point in Vmica. A media conference will also be held at 10:00 at the Vmica Border Cross Point. Then, together with Albanian State Police authorities, police officials will continue for the Republic of Albania for concrete duty under the memorandum for co-operation”, the Kosovo Police Community says.
The joint patrol came after the signing of the co-operation memorandum signed by the two directors of the police, Kosovo Police Director Rashit Qalaj and Albanian Police Director Ardi Veliu, for organising joint road police services in the Republic of Albania during the summer season.
