Former President Jahjaga, who participated in the organisation this evening, stressed that this is a supportive meeting for the Kosovo American Educational Fund and that the most likely investment can be made is investment in youth education.
“Investing in education or schooling is not only investment in one individual, but it is he who will open up a whole other future to that candidate, but it is a return to investment in the state of Kosovo”, she said.
Jahjaga also pointed out that so far over 100 scholarships have been awarded from this fund, and also claimed he has consistently supported these initiatives as president, but separately at the present time, reports Alb Uk Tv.
Kosovo has the most powerful share, has young boys and girls, since over 60 per cent of the population in Kosovo, is under the age of 25 and the most appropriate investment Kosovo needs now and in the future is investment in youth education”, she said.
Charged at the Kosovo Embassy, Heroina Telaku said it is a fund that supports Kosovo's youth to study and continue studies in the United States of America
“have so far managed to benefit more than 100 young people who have managed to realise their dreams of studying at some of the best universities in the United States. It is a fund that supports Kosovo's future, because these young people are the future of Kosovo, as more than 80 per cent of them have returned to Kosovo and are contributing to Kosovo in all areas, including diplomacy, as we have Kosovo's ambassador in Panama, which is the beneficiary of this” programme, Telaku said they will try to support this initiative as well as the embassy.
