State media reports that the court in Tianjin will announce its decision on a later date.
Meng, who was the first Chinese head of Interpol, disappeared on a trip to China from France last September.
The Communist Party later confirmed that he had been arrested as part of the actions taken by President Xi Jinping in fighting corruption.
Meng's wife, who is in France, has said the charges against him are politically motivated.
In May, she was granted political asylum in France, fearing that she and her children could be kidnapped.
The 65-year-old, who had lived in France, resigned as Interpol president after being arrested by Chinese authorities.
