Iker Casillas has denied speculation that he would retire from football after having had an attack on his heart during his training session with Porton last month.
The legend of Real Madrid and the National of Spain suffered a heart attack on May 1 and entered emergency surgery before returning home just five days later.
Portuguese media claim that Casillas will formalise his decision to retire on Thursday and said the goalkeeper would take a role on the board of the directors of Porto.
But the 38-year-old implied that these are just media libels because he has not yet been told by medical experts if he can recover enough to return the football.
The same thing as this tweet a month ago, except for the medical test part, which I have tomorrow. Hugs for all”, Casillas wrote on Twitter, referring to an earlier post he had denied he would retire.
