This data has made it known about Online Economy, the director of the QKUK Infectious Clinic, Hamdi Ramadani.
He says that 1700 recorded cases were recorded during 2017 and 2018, most of which were due to no vaccine.
The decline in the number of affected by this epidemic, according to Ramadani, relates to the process of immunization, or vaccine.
“From fruit disease in 2017 and 2018 we have a huge epidemic, with a full range of 1700 cases, while 40 percent of them have even stopped. All those cases that have come to dominate have been immune. From January to today, 10 cases of measles and measles have been recorded in our clinic, even these cases are all unaccompanied, mainly affecting ages 1 to 2. In January, we have four sick people from Malisevo, Fushe Kosova and Lipjani, then in February one case from Pristina in March, 1 case, and now in May, we have three cases --” -- it has ended Ramadani.
Infectologist Ramadani says this year there will be no danger from this epidemic.
“We don't believe that there will be a huge epidemic, as far as measles are concerned we don't expect and we don't believe that this figure 10 from January to today is really small, and it doesn't present any concern”, he says.
Conditions in this clinic are optimial, so Ramadani says they are prepared for an eventual epidemic, both in terms of inventory and related medicine.
And we have a good inventory and good infrastructure, so I think even the patients that have come over the past years, but now they have work comforts and secondly we have the team experienced and prepared. As for measles, we have the necessary medication because there are two basic therapeutic principles in this disease that are the first symptoms, and the complications”, he concluded.
Fruit is a viral infectious disease that can sometimes lead to serious health complications, including lung and brain infections.
The disease is said to be completely preventable if right time vaccines are taken.
