Despite the heated temperatures that have reached the record this week in France, the “Istanbul protests have continued.
In the 33rd week, protesters have taken to the streets to raise their voices against the president's government's policies, Emmanuel Macro.
Their protests, which began in response to rising fuel prices and poor economic conditions, but later turned into protests against President Macron's government and continue since November 17th 2018.
So far at the protests, 11 people have lost their lives, 4,245 persons of whom 1,797 police officers have been injured, and 12,107 people have been arrested.
