The 245-page document calls for punitive measures for the European Union's policy of stopping migrants after 2014, which is believed to have sacrificed the lives of immigrants at sea for the sole purpose of turning others away from the demand to go to Europe.
This indictment is directed against the European Union and member states that have played a key role in the refugee crisis, including Italy, Germany and France.
The accuser document, under which officials and politicians consciously have created the world's deadliest path of immigrants to the death of more than 12 thousand people, has been prepared by some experienced international lawyers.
The two main authors of the indictment are Juan Branco, who previously worked at France's International Criminal Court and Foreign Ministry, and Omer Shatz, an Israeli lawyer who legalises at a Paris university.
No specific names of politicians are mentioned in the document, but quoted diplomatic sources and comments by state leaders, including Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Makron, writes the Guardian”.
