Xi Jinping will be the first Chinese president to visit North Korea in the past fourteen years, at the time he himself has become part of the trade struggle with Washington and at the time when relations between China, Russia and North Korea have improved.
Through a writing published on the front page of the state newspaper of North Korea, the Chinese president highly praised Kim Jong-uni's work, saying he is leading the country on the right track despite failure in talks with the United States.
Since the failure of negotiations with the American president in February of Vietnam, North Korea has threatened to launch a new route to develop the economy, while continuing testing several weapons.
While saying that he respects United Nations sanctions against North Korea, China remains the main market for the sale of its products. Beijing's support is valued as vital for Kim Jong-un's ability to hold negotiations from the position of the strong, writes “Independent”.
