Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has declared that Kosovo's main goal and vision is to join NATO, and for that it is important that international friends trust Kosovo.
Haradinaj also praised the role of the Interconnecting Consultative Team NATO, where it stressed that their commitment is viewed as an important bridge between Kosovo and NATO.
For us it's important that you trust us with our friends, we not only trust you but we take you as our people. We take KFOR as our army. We have a goal and vision like Kosovo to join you, your family for this we will engage and work. We consider the Nant mission as an important bridge between Kosovo and NATO”, the prime minister said.
The prime minister made these comments during the change of NALT director (The Interconnecting Consultative Team) NATO, where it took place and the surrender of duty by Brigadier General Wee A. Becker to the next General Michael Oberneyer.
In this case, Prime Minister Haradinaj split the nation's hero, former General Becker, “Geno Kastriot-Skenderbeu”.
General Director of NALT, Brigadier General Wee Becker, expressed satisfaction with the co-operation he has had with KSF and the Ministry of Defence, praising that this shows the good relations he has with Kosovo.
He said their goal has been to develop the KSF. According to him, although much has been achieved, there is still work left for the KSF's full transformation process.
But General Becker said this is the right way for a better future.
“We have reached an excellent working relationship under our mandate, which is aimed at developing the KSF. Although much has been achieved, much remains to be done, the process of transformation is a complex work that requires patience and commitment, but this is the next right path”, he said.
And the appointed director, Brigadier General Michael Oberneier, said that much has been achieved in recent years and promised great commitment to further progress.
“Passy KSF has spent 120 days of the KSF transition process, we've only made the first 50 kilometers of marriage. We stand ready to help on this road”, he said.
Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rrustem Berisha expressed thanks to General Becker, praising all his commitment to the development of the KSF.
Meanwhile, KSF Commander Nundaman Rama said the KSF would continue to train and operate professionally.
While KFOR Commander Lorenzo Daddario said their role has been and will be for regional stability and Kosovo's development. / E
