Among the fugitives is the commander of the border surveillance police station in Leposaviq, KTV reports.
They are allegedly hiding in Serbia, following suspicions that they are involved in organised crime, bribery and misuse of official office.
Prosecutor Sylla Hoxha, who is leading the investigation in this case, says the prosecution will continue its efforts to arrest these officials as well.
And the Police Inspectorate has already requested the suspension of these police officials, as they continue to seek them.
But few citizens who police failed two weeks ago failed to arrest remain elusive.
The Special Prosecutor is expected to expand the investigation into other officials, who are also allegedly part of the criminal group, which has been operating in the country's north since 2011.
And under these investigations, the Special Prosecutor will also investigate the wound of the police member the day this action was conducted.
Hoxha has said this case will be investigated as attempted murder.
Two weeks ago, the Kosovo Police, in co-operation with the Special Inspectorate and Prosecutor, took broad action in the north, where they arrested 19 police officials, including the commander of the police station in Zubin Potok, with suspicions of “the misuse of official office”, “bribery” and “smuggling with goods and banned trade<5>
During this action, one policeman was injured and several others were injured following the resistance of local Serbs, who through barricades tried to prevent the action.
