Albert Dervisaj, director of Public Order in the State Police, has today presented measures taken to ensure the voting process on June 30th. 5417 polling stations will open across Albania at 7: 00 a.m. and close at 7:00. 7779 police officers have been trained to guarantee the process. [...]

5417 polling stations will open across Albania at 7: 00 a.m. and close at 7:00. To ensure the process has trained 7779 police employees who will engage in duties during the elections, according to police management levels, to the basic level of police action. 5876 police employees who will engage in service to preserve electoral facilities throughout Albania.

Dervisaj also spoke of violent events in some KZAZ, where 250 authors are involved, of which 59 have been arrested 138 pursued in a free state and 53 people have been declared on the run.

State police have also rejected the demands of political parties seeking to hold protests on election day, as this is in violation of the Electoral Code.
