According to recent reports, Serbia is set to implement the countermass already under consideration.
Having given up arbitration according to Novosti sources, U n NMIC, who is the signatory of the CEFTA agreement on behalf of Kosovo, has been declared uncompetent.
In this situation, Belgrade is left alone to sue Kosovo and present Kosovo as a legal person in international law, and at the initiative of our side, it will no doubt be interpreted as recognition of its citizenship, so even Arbitrazhi's option is refused”, the report says further.
Otherwise Kosovo became a full member of CEFTA in July 2007, and the membership agreement was signed by UNMIK on behalf of Kosovo institutions.
Media in question are even said to have sought answers from the mission UNMIK, but has not received answers.
