Novoberda Cathedral restored, Haradinaj considers co-existence worth

Today, the cathedral of the medieval city of Artana (former-Novoberda), which Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj considered common value of co-existence.
In case of her inauguration, German Ambassador to Kosovo Christian Heldt was there with the prime minister.
In this case Haradinaj said the cathedral, which has been renovated with the help of the German government, confirms the long way of co-existence and values.
“Catedralja, for which the German government has given money and gave to our archaeological institute and has given it the opportunity to come to this state of renovation that we concluded, is also a common value. Fortunately, there are many common values in Kosovo, so they do not share, but are values that unite, unite all those who have lived here, but also our partners, our allies in the past. In the concrete case, this cathedral is also common value with then Germany”, Haradinaj said.
Once, he indicated that only during the time of the prime minister, Germany has extended over 100m euros in donations to Kosovo.
As chairman of Government, I can give the information to the people of Kosovo, while Germany has given over 100 million donations to projects of enormous importance to the lives of our citizens. This gesture is very significant because it also gives about history, about the values we hold together”, he added.
Genie's ambassador, Christian Heldt, said the Archaeological Institute is doing a good job, and the object that was renovated today is also evidenced.
German ambassador thanked Prime Minister Haradinaj for what he said, his interest in the history and importance of the work of the Kosovo Archaeological Institute.

I would like to officially hand over to you the Novoberda history documents these wonderful people have done here. Meanwhile, the director of the Archaeological Institute, Enver Rexha, spoke of the importance of this project, while optimistic that in the future, they will continue with other monuments, which he said he believes will also have the support of the Government of Kosovo.
“With the German Embassy I announce we started this project in 2017, in 2018 conservation and restoration have been realised, in addition to the recognition and scientific research that has been made. Now this year, we've done more research and study of the material, it's a carding and marking procedure of those other references, and I have the satisfaction of announcing that we've taken some years to ensure the preventional preservation of the” facility, he said.
The restoration project of the cathedral of Artana began in 2017 and was funded by the German Embassy.
