The member of the negotiating team, Dardan Gashi, who is also deputy prime minister and minister of the Diaspore and Strategic Investments, told Radio Free Europe that delegation members who have had commitments about the team have done their jobs, and some others are still working.
There is no real difference, the work is practically suspended because we don't have the other side. I also know that preparations are under way, meaning in the technical aspects of the creation of infrastructure with advisers and escort staff”, Gashi said.
However, with the formation of this team, the Kosovo government had also shared financial means for its functioning.
Out of the total amount of resources shared by the Kosovo Government for the negotiating team, worth 300 thousand euros [media separated from state reserves], so far over 34 thousand euros have been spent.
Of these tools, according to Ilir Cacaj, who is deputy co-ordinator of the state delegation's administrative office for talks, more than 22 thousand euros have been spent on travel (flying tickets to Brussels).
According to him, more than 3 thousand and 400 euros have been spent on accommodation and food (employee in Tirana) for all members of the Delegation and the escort staff.
