Moliqaj has said his arrest took place without any preliminary invitation to go to any court and contrary to procedures in force.
“Today around 8:00am, Kosovo police arrested me in my apartment in Pristina, in which he resided on rent, without warning and without prior invitation from the state institution”.
I realized that on the 12th of this month, Sunday, the court had made a decision on the case that occurred in 2015, for a protest we had staged as Vetvevendosje Movement, and that is not a common phenomenon, since it happened 4 years ago, while the decision to arrest comes on Sunday”, Moliqaj says.
The MP even says this case testifies that the trial in Kosovo is seized by Kosovo politics.
However the police have behaved well, arrested me, and accompanied me to the Constitutional Court in Pristina, this case shows that the state is caught when an MP is arrested on Sunday, and that has happened without respect for procedures that are imposed”.
All the protests I've attended have been fair and politically intentioned protests. In any of the protests I've organized or participated in, I have no regrets against”, Moliqaj said.
