Moghrin: Better be business, not war, Kosovo removes tax on Serbia

If EU assistance is not used in a wise way today, if we lose this case, I see the danger of the dark forces of the past confrontation and miss the opportunity of integration. So has EU High Representative Federica Moghrini declared, while commenting yesterday's events in the country's north. [...]

So has EU High Representative Federica Moghrini declared, while commenting yesterday's events in the country's north.

Moghrin said what happened yesterday shows the need for Kosovo and Serbia to return dialogue.

“What happened yesterday shows us that Pristina and Belgrade should return to the dialogue table and follow with binding agreements. What happened yesterday is a reminder that all of us are for binding agreements after the entire region benefits. It's true, I talked about cooperation in the region. We know and agree that past trends of confrontation, or rhetoric that are not cooperative, can arise at any moment. And that's why I think we're at a 148x1...

It has reiterated the call for the removal of the tax on Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As donors, we know it's better to do business rather than war. Kosovo and Serbia must devote themselves to an agreement, and if we are on the terms, I would repeat that 100 per cent taxes must be lifted on Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina”, she said.

She voiced conviction that an agreement with Kosovo and Serbia could happen, as she said she is willing to immediately call a meeting of both sides for dialogue
