Krasniqi-Godman: Do not be provoked by the feelings of victims of sexual violence

Vasfije Krasniqi-Goodman, the survivor of sexual violence in the Kosovo war, who had spoken publicly about her experiences, has reacted after allegedly that photos published by MP Flora Brovina are not true.

Brovina had today published photographs claiming to be from a country in Kosovo where a woman was raped in front of her family by Serb forces.

Krasniqi-Goodman has said people should be careful not to provoke the feelings of the victims.

After all this confusion about the photo published today, no matter where or where sexual violence has taken place, it's punishable, but as a survivor I on behalf of all of us please be careful and not provoke our feelings. Because at least we need to see things like this, because that's one of the injustices that's done to us”, she wrote on Facebook.
