The situation is particularly critical in northwest Bosnia and Herzegovina, where several rivers are coming out of bed creating dangerous situations in several villages.
According to local media, around 200 houses and roads have been flooded. Rescue relief teams are in operation to provide residents, especially children and the elderly.
Bad weather alert, which runs through the end of this week, also affects Serbia with Croatia, where rainfall is accompanied by strong winds, sends atje.
They are under special scrutiny from major rivers such as the Danube and Sava, which were at the centre of the devastating floods of five years ago in the Balkans that occurred in the same period in 2014.
