Kosovo's ambassador to the US, Vlora Citaku, has attended the ceremony where Senator Dole was honoured, Periscope reports.
Senator Dole is a decorated World War II veteran until he was honoured yesterday by the United States after receiving the honorary U.S. Army Colonel.
And this ceremony was attended by Ambassador Chitaku, who by means of a Facebook post said that America knows how to honor its heroes.
This is Chitak's full post:
America does honor its heroes. I was honoured that, along with State Secretary Pompeo and U.S. Army Chief of Staff, I had the privilege of attending the honorary ceremony of the US Army Colonel for Senator Dole.
Senator Dole is a decorated World War II veteran. Senator Dole is only the third American to be awarded this honor. Before Senator Dole, the honor promotion by the American Army had accepted First President of America George Washington and William Clark, the famous American explorer.
Thank you Senator Dole for making Kosovo part of this grand ceremony. /Periscope/
