Five workers arrested at a private clinic in Pristina suspected of trafficking human organs

“Based on information and preliminary investigations, the Directorate for Trafficking in Human Being (DHTQNJ) with the date of April 2 and April 3, 2019 has carried out a police operation, resulting in the control of a private clinic in the Pristina region and with the arrest of five (5) persons suspected of carrying out criminal acts: •“Counterfeitable transplantation and trafficking of human organs and cells” • “Medical irrespondigation (4)5> •6fax>
Investigations into this case according to police have been launched several months ago and were conducted in co-operation and co-ordination with the Founding Prosecutor, the Department of Crime in Pristina.
As material evidence, medical files, evidence books, 4 mobile phones and 500 euros in cash have been seized.
With the decision of the Health Inspectorate, due to the findings of irregularities, the department where IVF services were performed in this clinic has been closed.
To the four suspects at the prosecutor's order, you have been assigned a 48-hour ban, while one has been released in regular procedure.
