According to him, Serbs in northern Kosovo have realised that if they boycott the elections, then they will not be represented in institutions, broadcast Serbian media.
Serwer suggests that the decision to participate in elections for institutions in northern Kosovo could affect the continuation of dialogue blocked between Belgrade and Pristina.
Of course, if Pristina now responds by suspending the tax or something. It could be a step in that direction and I hope very much for this”, it's Cerwer saying.
“I hope the idea of exchange of territory will also be excluded until both sides return to the chat table”, he said.
