Serbian Culture Minister Vladan Bukosavljevic has reacted after the screening of the Russian-Serbian film “Balkan borders” in Bujanovac has been cancelled.
He has said the annulment of that film's performance in Bujanovac is a kind of censorship, showing the efforts of politics to influence culture.
According to him, such influences of politics in culture have never been good.
“We don't know if it's a ban, but the project that was warned to appear has been cancelled. Such a ban has resulted from some political manipulation, and this remains to be seen”, Vukosavljevic said, tanug writes.
The Russian-Serbian film tells a story about what Russian troops did at Pristina Airport after the NATO bombing ended.
