Serbia engages companies to lobby in US for Kosovo

Serbia's government has engaged the company; Cleyary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP for lobling for it in Washington, reports The Voice of America in the Serbian language.
As stated in an official document that was presented at the US Secretariat for Justice on March 29th, the aforementioned company will lobby for Serbia to all parties interested in the US on specific issues of regional co-operation; including client in this case Serbia and Kosovo.
The document, reports Voice of America, includes the contract between the company in question and Serbia's State Prosecutor's Office.

Since Kosovo has declared independence in 2008, Serbia is said to be engaged in an intensive lobbie campaign against its recognition and against Kosovo's accession to various regional and international organisations and mechanisms.
